Where do I even begin... After working in the wedding industry for years, I knew exactly what I wanted for our wedding day and I won't pretend I wasn't a particularly detailed bride! I had a very clear vision, and Irene made me feel like no request was ever too much. We wanted a saxophonist, a violinist, a vintage photobooth, a sweet station, flip flops for the evening, Piña Coladas on the menu, flowers absolutely everywhere, and countless personalised touches. Irene made every single one happen. One of my favourite parts was our 'Memory Lane', taking our guests through our 18-year relationship. I designed it myself at home, and the team was able to print it in Tenerife. They sourced the easels and set it up beautifully. It was even better than I'd imagined. What impressed us most was how much freedom we had to personalise the day. We weren't limited to choosing from a few set packages or options; we were able to make it completely our own, right down to the smallest details, even the cutlery! Every idea was welcomed, every question was answered, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Irene genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life, and it showed in every aspect of the day. The attention to detail throughout the entire day was incredible. Everything ran so smoothly that we were simply able to relax and enjoy every second. Our guests are still talking about it, and so many have told us it's the best wedding they've ever been to. We've visited GF Victoria three times over the last year, but now it means so much more than just a beautiful hotel. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts because it's where we had the best day of our lives. Thank you, Irene, and the entire GF Weddings team. You exceeded every expectation and gave us a wedding that was even more perfect than we could have imagined. If you're thinking about getting married at GF Victoria, do it. We chose to have our wedding at GF Victoria last month (May 2026), and we cannot praise Irene and the entire team enough for making our day one that we will never forget. We visited several venues in Tenerife and met with a number of local wedding planners, but after touring GF Victoria and meeting Irene, we immediately felt that it was the perfect choice – and we were absolutely right. Irene's attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made the whole planning process incredibly smooth and enjoyable. From sourcing the perfect flowers, helping with the design of our favours, to accommodating our many special dietary requirements, nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always available to offer reassurance, answer questions, and provide clarity at every stage, consistently going above and beyond our expectations. The wedding day itself was simply beautiful. From our ceremony in the stunning Japanese garden to our evening dinner in the Amina Restaurant, everything was executed flawlessly. Our guests are still talking about the day, particularly the delicious and seemingly endless canapés and drinks! The evening celebration was unforgettable, with DJ Johann creating exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for. He listened carefully to our preferences and brought the perfect energy to the party. Booking directly with the hotel meant that the Harmony Suite was included complimentary, and it was the ideal space to begin the day with my bridesmaids. It was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate nine of us getting ready, alongside two makeup artists and a hairstylist. We were also fortunate enough to spend the night in the suite and enjoy the exceptional five-star facilities and spa experience the following day. GF Victoria is a truly exceptional hotel, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering it for their wedding or even just a luxurious stay in Tenerife. We cannot wait to return and create even more unforgettable memories there. Thank you once again to Irene and the amazing team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Wow. What can we say!! This hotel has been absolutely outstanding. We booked our wedding here, but due to an unfortunate situation with our independent wedding planner, nothing was paid or arranged 2 weeks before the wedding. With limited funds, the staff worked hard behind the scenes to help us out. They left no stone unturned to make sure we had the most magical day. Every single one of my guests commented how attentive to detail everyone was. Every leaf, flower, glass and plate was positioned perfectly, and then perfectly again until it was beyond perfect. The staff were more than accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel like royalty, and so were our guests, who were looked after for their entire stay. The management team were wonderful, and although they were not the faces we seen each day, we are so grateful to them for making our dreams a reality. But we have to make a special mention for Irene, the events coordinator. She was a pillar in making everything run smoothly. If it wasn't for Irene, our day may not have happened at all. She made us feel, and treated us like family. Thankyou Irene, from the bottom of hearts. The hotel itself is extremely well presented. Which is why we chose it for our wedding day! The grand entrance and the glass bottom pool, the waterfalls, greenery, and beautiful ocean views are all worthy of picture perfect moments! The rooms are very very comfortable, providing toiletries, slippers and gowns, and all the necessary little things youd expect. The refurb has been done to a high standard. But the food! Well, my wedding meal was probably without doubt the best meal we (and our guests) have ever had! The chef is talented! Very! Steak cooked beautifully, presentation was perfect. The buffet at the restaurant is massively varied and changes daily, theres something for everyone! I especially loved the little kitchen parts where you choose your ingredients, pasta/pizza and sauces and the chef cooks it right there in front of you! The kids were especially made up with the ice cream cart (husband included!) The pools are lovely and theres even a children's water park/slide area! Everything is immaculate and well tended to. I really don't know where to start other than to say this was without a doubt the happiest day of my life. Every single aspect was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Irene and the team worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect. The decor, the music and the staff were all fantastic but the food i think stole the show, some people said it was the best meal they had ever had and no glass was ever half full. They even arranged a fully gluten free tray of appetisers just for me along with my whole 3 course meal. The venue was stunning and we have already booked to return for our 1 year anniversary. Wedding ~ April 2024. Fantastic team and venue at the GF Victoria. We had the most perfect day and our guests had a fabulous time. Irene’s support during the planning stages with suggestions for decor including the seating chart, chairs and accessories was invaluable and all helped make our day extra special.  Every member of staff was fantastic and attentive and looked after us and our guests incredibly.  Special mention to Gasper who was fantastic during the meal service and after.  Having returned to the hotel several times since, Gasper always makes us feel so welcome.  Highly recommend the hotel as a wedding venue, Irene was the perfect wedding planner.
